FREE coach led tennis sessions every Saturday 1pm-3pm for all of the family

FREE tennis comes to Goodmayes Park

Tennis For Free, an exciting tennis charity, will be serving up free tennis, equipment and coach led training sessions to tennis fanciers of all ages and backgrounds at Goodmayes Park for 50 weeks of the year.

Looking to capitalise on the tennis fever, 1pm Saturday 5th July will see the launch of 2 hours of free weekly coach led tennis sessions that will be available year round at Goodmayes Park in Redbridge. The free weekly sessions have been made possible by a partnership with Vision-Redbridge Culture & Leisure, Compete Tennis, the LTA and the Tennis For Free Charity.

Tennis For Free is a registered charity founded by comedian Tony Hawks. Supported by Sport England and the LTA and with high profile Patrons such as Stephen Fry and Judy Murray, the charity aims to create healthy, vibrant tennis communities on FREE public park tennis courts. The scheme in Redbridge is also supported by a wider coaching programme delivered by the Compete Tennis.

Tennis For Free’s CEO Paul Jessop commented, "We're looking forward to working with Compete Tennis and Redbridge Council in sparking a new wave of tennis interest into the Redbridge area and getting people of all ages partaking in some enjoyable and healthy activity. There are the weekly TFF sessions, courts that are free for a casual game and a variety of low cost tennis coaching sessions delivered by Compete Tennis – there's something for everyone!!"

Those interested in attending the free sessions will need to sign up at www.competeparkstennis.co.uk where more details about the tennis in the Redbridge area can be found. More information about Tennis For Free visit the charity’s website http://www.tennisforfree.com/
